Few competitors have the same history and market presence as 8×8. As a cloud-based communications provider, 8×8 has worked with over 40,000 companies. The company prides itself on its “powerful, secure, complete, and simple” contact center solution.

Though 8×8 serves businesses of all sizes, its contact center solution seems best suited to enterprise-level customers. They offer all of the standard features you would expect from a call center platform and then some; but, some users report problems navigating the User Interface.

8×8 does not advertise their pricing, but quotes for their basic Virtual Office are priced as low as $20 per month per seat, and their call center solution has been quoted for prices ranging from $115 to $180 per seat. Unlike Talkdesk, there are no hidden fees and phone support is offered for all customers, regardless of size.

Choosing the Right Contact Center Provider

So, which contact center provider is right for you? That depends on your unique business requirements.

8×8 offers a wide range of features, many of which aren’t offered by other contact center providers. But, some users have noted that their User Interface is difficult to navigate. In contrast, Talkdesk provides what you might expect from a VoIP contact center provider minus a few of add-on features. But, they offer a streamlined call center platform¬†that can be configured in just minutes.
