Making Calls with Your Softphone

Minimum requirements for downloading and configuring the softphone:

  • Processor:  Pentium 4 2.4GHz or equivalent
  • Memory:  1 GB RAM
  • Hard Disk Space:  50 MB
  • Operating System:  Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and Windows 10; Sierra / OS X 10.12; El Capitan / OS X 10.11; Yosemite / OS X 10.10
  • Connection:  IP network connection (broadband, LAN, wireless);30kbps symmetric - Upload/Download speeds per call per user
  • Sound Adapter:  Full-duplex, 16-bit or use USB/ 3/4mm headphone jack

NOTE: With the release of Bria 4, CounterPath has discontinued support for Windows XP. If you are using Windows XP with Bria 3.5.5 or earlier, your client will continue to work; however, you cannot upgrade to Bria 4 without first updating your Windows operating system to Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10.
