The Bria 4 & Bria Stretto from CounterPath
Bria 4 and Stretto are carrier-grade SIP Softphone clients that enable you to manage your communications easily from your Mac or Windows computers. Both of these solutions can replace or complement your desk phone, allowing you to make voice calls over IP.
Getting Started
Minimum requirements for downloading and configuring the softphone:
- Processor: Pentium 4 2.4GHz or equivalent
- Memory: 1 GB RAM
- Hard Disk Space: 50 MB
- Operating System: Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and Windows 10; Sierra / OS X 10.12; El Capitan / OS X 10.11; Yosemite / OS X 10.10
- Connection: IP network connection (broadband, LAN, wireless);30kbps symmetric - Upload/Download speeds per call per user
- Sound Adapter: Full-duplex, 16-bit or use USB/ 3/4mm headphone jack
NOTE: With the release of Bria 4, CounterPath has discontinued support for Windows XP. If you are using Windows XP with Bria 3.5.5 or earlier, your client will continue to work; however, you cannot upgrade to Bria 4 without first updating your Windows operating system to Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10.
