Line Hunting Software
Hunt groups, commonly known as line hunting or call hunting, allow you to forward calls from one phone number to multiple phones or user extensions. A single incoming call can cycle through the group using a ring strategy, such as simultaneous ringing or round-robin forwarding. If the call remains unanswered, a voicemail can take a message which will be sent to all members of the hunt group.

Set Up Custom Group Voicemail
If the incoming call remains unanswered, the caller can then be routed to a voicemail that will be sent to all members of the hunt group.
How to Set Up Hunt Groups
- In the AVOXI dashboard, navigate to the Call Groups tab on the left-hand side. Click the blue +Add button on the top right.
- Create a name for your hunt group, fill in the extension, then check off the names of all the agents you want in the group. Click Next.
- From there, you have the option to create a voicemail or select from a drop-down list of pre recorded voicemail messages. You also have the option to require a PIN to access the voicemail.
- Next, set the amount of time the phone will ring before the caller is sent to voicemail.
