Who We’re Looking For

As a key member of our marketing leadership team, you’ll have a proven background in building a demand generation function that delivers thoughtful and value-based customer journeys that drive interest, excitement and clarity from discovery to loyalty of how AVOXI can drive a business to success. In this role you will design our demand generation strategies and lead campaigns and a team that will continue to drive our growth.

Customer obsessed and passionate about building the “spider-web” of journeys, you will lead a team of channel and demand generation experts who will execute your strategies to grow the AVOXI brand name, position in the market and revenue. You are relentless about performance and optimization, asking the team for results and improvements regularly. As a leader, you have a deep belief in building people up, supporting their growth in their career and as a person, and are dedicated to this task. You will also work closely with the VP of Marketing and the Director of Marketing Communications in building and creating a developmentally inspired team culture.

Specific functions of the role will include: 

  • Develop and manage our demand gen team building customer journey strategies to meet and exceed sales targets that contribute to our aggressive revenue goals
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of demand gen activities on a weekly cadence; provide optimization actions based on what's working well and opportunities for improvement; while also managing and reporting on budget
  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Marketing Communications and Sales teams to successfully bring new features and products to market and drive awareness, qualified leads and account growth
  • Work cross-functionally to map the entire buyer journey from lead to opp and overlay customer persona needs, triggers and value propositions
  • Build an expansive, multi-persona lead funnel that nurtures gross leads and converts them to MQLs with additional programs that encourage client growth and reduce churn
  • Serve as a key point of contact for our sales leaders; build a collaborative relationship focused on supporting the needs of the sales organizations while also ensuring alignment to channel best practices and the overall marketing strategy
  • Spearhead building ABM strategies to attract larger, enterprise accounts
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to direct reports on the demand generation team (and beyond in a matrix management); set clear roles and responsibilities as well as business objectives for both the overall team and each team member

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing 
  • Experienced building customer journeys, leading audience segmentation and value proposition conversations and creating personas
  • Highly skilled in building the lead funnel and understanding today’s modern drivers for the buyer’s cycle (particularly across different personas in B2B)
  • Adept across the modern Martech and Salestech stack (SFDC, Marketo, 6Sense, etc.)
  • Proficient across digital and offline demand gen tactics, ABM, and channels
  • Highly analytical, intellectually curious, and driven to root-cause analyses
  • Enjoys translating and communicating data into actionable insights
  • Iterative and agile working style; embraces ambiguity and the opportunity to build
